Notes from Wednesday January 6, 2009

Today was fairly quiet. There weren't as many daycare kids here as some days, at least not during the main part of the day.

As we do every day we worked through our book for the week, singing the songs and reviewing the basics we are studying this week - the letter Pp, the color yellow, calender and our sign language for this week. There was also plenty of time for free play.

The Berenstain Bears and Too Much TV  

 

As we read the stories we listened for words that began with the letter Pp, talked about the colors in the pictures, counted objects in the pictures and named the animals and the sounds they made.

There were seven children ages 1 - 11 on all shifts today.
