No school today due to flooding in some areas of our county so we had several school children all day. It's always interesting to have such a wide variety of ages all day long but the day went well.


A backed up kitchen sink that looked like this -

made me decide to make things simple on myself today and serve finger foods and use paper towels for plates. Fewer dishes to try to figure out how to wash (or pile until the drain was fixed) seemed like a good idea.

When Doug came home from work this afternoon he unclogged the drain and now everything is back to normal. Or as normal as it ever gets around here.
