Michael and Lauren coloring while I finish lunch.
We've been enjoying this CD of Christmas music. It's light and soft enough to have playing in the background and lends a touch of festivity to the atmosphere.
Amanda Michael and Lauren playing with blocks. I didn't get a picture of it but Amanda also made an ABC line with the kids using the blocks.
Here are the books we read today. Lauren especially enjoyed the book about colors and we looked at it together several times, naming the objects in each picture and talking about the colors. Michael chose Fire Trucks in Action and is working hard on naming the equipment in the books -ladders, radios, hoses, boots, etc.Today's Menu

Dinner - Baked Chicken Drumsticks, Boiled Potatoes w/Butter, Peaches, Bread, Milk
