Notes from Tuesday February 9, 2010

 Somehow I didn't take any pictures today. Somehow each time I saw something I would have liked to capture a photograph of the camera was never close by.

I do want to share the themes for our themebook this week and the links for the pages. All of our pages this week came from DLTK's sites.

Our first page is the Who Loves You? rhyme. I thought the words and the little hearts on the page were appropriate for this week before Valentine's day.

Since our letter for this week is the letter Ss the next three pages of the book are the Ss songs - The Letter S Song, Do You Know the Sandwich Man, and A Silly Slippery Snake. We also have the letter Ss Template. Because our color for this week is orange I colored the Ss template orange and also included the orange Color Buddy coloring page.

We review this book at least once a day all wee. I try to do it twice a day so that the kids on both day and evening shifts benefit from it. I usually try to include a calender page and a sign language lesson in each theme book, but when I was making the books I ran out of printer ink so decided to stop there for this week.
